Mule ewe lambs at Skipton on the 10th September saw an overall average falling slightly by £7 to steady at £102, while trade at Hexham on the 6th September for the first sale of the season saw an average of £116 across the board – the exact same average as 12 months previous.


NEMSA sales are held throughout September and October each year in markets throughout the north of England, with ewe lambs and gimmers readily available. Only sheep bearing the NEMSA tag can be sold through official NEMSA sales, giving buyers confidence in the quality and reputation of the stock they are buying.
