Farmers Weekly recently ran an excellent breed-promoting feature on NEMSA's national vice-chairman Jonathan Hodgson penned by livestock reporter Michael Priestley and titled 'Mule breeder builds flock health to keep market share.'
It was supported by a number of profile-raising case studies, among them Derek Hall, chairman of The Mule Group, who helped set up the initiative. Warm thanks to him, to Michael and FW editor Andrew Meredith, who told NEMSA's spin doctor Robin Moule: "It sounds like the Hodgsons are laying the foundations for future success very shrewdly."
